Still winter in the Rockies!

As you can see the winter weather is still hanging on. Snow and cold this last week again. We were in Nic and Rita's house this last week as a storm blew in and they are high enough on the hill you could see it coming, first rain, then snow, then rail and so on throughout the day. Sometimes it was in sheets as it blew through. They didn't have much left when we came home. Of course Aberdeen got its share and it has stayed. Today it was 50 deg in Pocatello when we left to come home. When we got to Aberdeen it was 27deg and the wind was reminding you that it was still winter. Oh well since I've had the garden seed since Nov is it any wonder that I'm just a little anxious to get out in the dirt.

It was a great day to be part of the family. We were able to witness Madelyn receive a blessing at the hands of her father. What a great thing to witness. It just does the heart strings good to witness the priesthood at work. Of course the food afterwards was great, it always amazes me how good things are when we all get together and bring something good to eat.

This is our cat that has come to live at our house. It likes to come in to eat but goes out for everything else. We are hoping that it likes mice real well. We have two permanent ones and one that likes to come to dinner on occasion.

We we have talked to Heather and Nannette and Michelle and some of our Grandchildren. It has been a good week and good week end. We love you all and enjoy all of you so very much. Keep the faith and all will work out for the good. That is a promise from God. Luv Mom and Dad

What is the cold looking white stuff covering everything. It doesn't look fun to work and drive in. I think that all the cacti would perish if we had any of that stuff. BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
