Winter, Almost Christmas

Here we find ourselves in the midst of our famous Idaho winters a little snow and lots of wind and cold. The other morning God decorated the trees in white frost. They were beautiful when the sun came out and sparkling all over. When the wind came up later it all went away. Thats the price we Idahoans pay for fresh air. The garden is now all covered in snow. The seeds for next year all ready in storage and ready to go. And wouldn't you know it the seed catologs are not even here yet, but I got 40% off of last years price. Isn't that a good idea? In the mean time everytime we have corn we enjoy the best corn we have ever had(sorry you Iowans) it is as good or better than the grimes corn and it is frozen and in our deep freeze for us to use all winter long. laRie sure did a good job a freezing all that we could from the garden. We still have lots of onions, potatoes, squash, a;nd a few pumkins in the basement. We have had some of the soup Mom made and it is really good. We hope that all will have a great Christmas and New Year. We love you all and thanks for all you do for us. God Bless
