November gardening

Well who knows where they go sometimes? I had typed up a page and was trying to add photo's and poof it is gone. We we have a basement and freezer full of fruits of our labors this summer. We have really enjoyed sharing it with everyone that we could. We still have a few fresh tomatoes. There still are brussel sprouts and kalarabi and brocholli in the garden. It is going to come to a close here some day soon. We still have a zuccini squash to eat. What a productive garden we had. The only things that didn't do so good were the sweet potatoes. I did't get the seed early enough to get much out of them. Everything else was in rich abundance. Greatly blessed for our efforts. I have next years seed already purchased and stored away. I even saved some of the seeds from this years. Well it was a great summer and now we are now hunkering down for a long winters nap. I sent a picture of the paint job on the house. It looks nice to be back to the blue tint. We have Mom's newer carpet almost all cut and down. Thanks to Martin and Nick for the labor. Now it is up to me to get the boarders down and nailed to the wall. Mom wants to redo the paper in the living room. That will make it look better. We are going to buy some heavy metal shelves and install in the basement. Then we can get the upstairs bedrooms ready for occupation during the holidays. We have most of our years supply up there on the floor. It will look better on a shelve. Well have a good Thanksgiving. We luv ya all PaPa
