Well I think summer is all most over!

We have had two days of rain and the cold fronts are starting to move in and the temperature has definitely dropped to fall like. We have enjoyed this summer and the great home grown garden produce. Very seldom has anyone gone home without something from the garden. We may of even made a pest of ourselves is some instances. Please forgive us if we have. We have taken a trunk full of produce each week to the temple with us and shared with everyone that we can find to take them. One morning we found a car that wasn't locked and we filled it full of zucchini. Isn't that what your supposed to do when you find an unlocked car? Actually they had told us to put them in their car. We also took the back of the suburban full of stuff to the family reunion and Mom did her best to share with everyone there. She did a good job, we came home with only a very few items. I wish some of you were closer and we could share with you those things that you like. Red potatoes and fresh peas come to mind as being one of the first. They were good this year. We shared a whole pickup bed full of red potatoes when they harvested the field, thanks to grandchildren coming and helping pick them up. Grandma Lilya came and we filled her car full of potato sacks full for her to take to Utah. We have some in storage for when some of you come and see us for the holidays.
We are just starting to enjoy the new web site that Nicolas put together for us on genealogy. As you go in and look around please enjoy. It has so many features that can benefit us as a family. We will try and put everything that we can on it to help you as you teach your children about their Grand and Great Grandparents. We have pictures and stories and life sketch's. Hopefully it will make it easier to share with everyone. It all came to light when some of your children started asking for stories of ancestors and for Genealogy for projects that they had. We had seen a program that Bishop Millett used to do his one night as he shared his and liked it. So Nicholas was asking and we got him permission to go to the Millett's and look around. He got so excited he got ours done. So please go in and get registered and start putting your information in it. It can really be an asset to all of us, maybe especially to just us to old folks. Thanks again for your love and prayers for us, for your calls, and your thoughts in our behalf. We love you all and pray for your success constantly.
We are thankful for another missionary in our family. We enjoy his site and his letters and pictures. keep them coming Kim. We continue to pray for our missionaries.

Well we are enjoying new carpets in both the living room and the tv room. Thank you all that have come and helped with our trying to get things looking better in our home. I think it will be our home for a long time. We are enjoying conferance this weekend. How blessed to be able to stay at home and enjoy. I'm thankful for a living prophet. We enjoy our serves at the temple each week. Thanks to Marty for being able to come and go to the priesthood session with me. it brings lots of memories of going with all of you at one time or another. Our mission was the only time when we were unable to go. I remember going with my Father to hear the priesthood sessions, we now enjoy to be able to see and hear. We are indeed blessed. Thank you all for your faithfulness to the principles of the Gospel. God Bless you all.
