Well here we are in a new year. 2008 We hope that all have a great new year. We are enjoying a bright sunny day without treat of snow or fierce winds a blowing. It will not be very warm but it sure looks great outside.
We are watching the Rose Bowl parade. Mom says she doesn't get that opportunity very often, so we made soup and we have a loaf of bread to put it in and so we have lunch soon to be ready.
Watching the parade brings back missionary moments of long ago. The first year we stood on the sidewalk and watched the next year Pres. Anderson got us all seats and we went in on a bus instead of parking and walking. Those of you that have been to the fair know about that fun thing. Something I don't think that anyone knows who hasn't been there. When the floats get toward the end of the parade, most of their flowers have been pulled out and missing. People run out and grab them then run back and hide in the crowd. Its best to sit up toward the beginning of the parade.
Life is good here and we are looking forward to going to Emma's blessing and then to the Rexburg Temple.
May we all have a great new year. Luv you all.
